Chance Lain, a Northeast Louisiana native, has been surrounded by music and musicians his entire life. A survivor of personal tragedies and challenges, Chance has taken his song-writing and live musical performance to another level, far beyond the surface. His music is deep, is heartfelt, and it touches one's very soul.

Being a multi-instrumentalist, Chance plays all types of music and excels in multiple genres. Slide guitar is emphasized as an exceptional signature style. His roots are in gospel; however, Chance has a vocal style that makes his passion for The Blues; R&B; Soul; and Rock speak to and move his audience. Chance has worked sound with acts like The Temptations and Stained and in the mid-nineties was the lead vocalist and guitarist with his own band, "Heavy Weather".
